Another drizzly morning here. Rumor has it that we are to get our first freeze this weekend. So, before they’re gone…snapshots of pink!

Yes, it really works!
This pretty clock was in the Stadt Park in Vienna. Did you notice that the numbers are flowers?

I took this last week just before the Black Eyed Susan started fading away for the summer.

This will make a great winter-time memory!

I always plant a few Rose Moss. It reminds me of my grandma’s garden.

The pink ones are my favorite.

My hollyhocks aren’t doing well this year. I think they didn’t like all the rain we had a few weeks ago. The leaves are starting to turn yellow and fall off. Maybe it’s time to say goodbye to them for this year.

I have a fondness for flowers that have that otherworldly look about them.

Another flower who couldn’t decide what color she wanted to be so she went with a little of each.

Pink? Yellow? Orange?

We have red and white and pink hollyhock. I got a little careless last fall with the seeds…they are coming up everywhere!

My husband brought home a new plant for our yard. He works at a garden center so we get lots of stragglers that don’t sell. This one's a real beauty!!

Two more pink flowers from my mom’s garden. I’m not sure what the top one is. Does anyone know?

These pink buds turn into dainty white flowers. Every morning, in the dimness before sunrise, it looks like it is snowing on the bushes in my backyard.

Vibernum...the perfume from these flowers is wonderful!

Only a few tulips showed up this year. It was cold here, but not cold enough. I’ve read that tulips need a 6-week hard freeze in the winter.

Good for me, not for them!

Tulips just beg to be photographed.
